Lurie's remarks are always very intelligent and realistic, and it is a pleasure to read her commentary. The purpose of the book is not to tell which books are subversive, nor  › Books › Literature & Fiction › History & Criticism.

The Grown Ups is a story spanning over a decade and explores the bonds between friends and family. There are many, many challenges for them to overcome and could threaten to divide them.
